French Colonial comes to life in dramatic new ways in The Vincent, a home that makes artistic use of such elements as paved stone walkways, rough hewn beamed and planked ceilings, wide-plank hickory flooring, rough plastered walls and a number of interior arched stone passageways. Enhancing the rustic motif are such features as red-toned, exterior window trim; an aged copper range hood; and a nostalgic, double-wide kitchen farm sink. Authentically French to the core, the interior of The Vincent combines hues of browns, creams, reds and blues and is enhanced with liberal use of aged oiled metals, antique furnishings and richly textured fabrics and trim. A highlight of the home, named for the son of Rocky and Linda deStefano, is the lower-level stone-and-cedar wine tasting arena (reminiscent of a Dom Perignon wine cellar) with three individual, arched wine porticoes. |
